Description
A large, perennial legume with attractive yellow flowers is a popular plant in meadows and native landscape gardens. It is distributed throughout the eastern United States growing best in disturbed, moist areas that receive full to partial sun. Early spring, shallow plantings have proven to create good stands after primary root development takes place. It is a hard coated seed and should be scarified prior to planting to increase germination.
