Description
This annual/biennial is native to the central portions of the United States from New Mexico to Louisiana and north to Wisconsin and North Dakota. Four-point Evening Primrose prefers to grow in full sunlight on sandy soils of the upland plains. Reaching 1-4 feet in height, its bloom period of June-October produce bright yellow flowers that open in the evenings to be pollinated by nocturnal moths. This pant will reseed itself if the ground is left open and bare to allow seed germination.
