Brassica, Sorghum-Sudan and Millet Mixtures

Mixtures with these crops provide many benefits and value as an alternative crop for forage and grazing along with soil conditioning benefits.  These crops do require fertilizer input to maintain soil fertility and to create beneficial forage value.  With sudan and millet grass forages, 30 to 50 units of N, and when brassica are in the mix, nitrogen and 40 to 60 units of P should be available.
