CoverBuilder RTP is a topical legume, Sunn Hemp, blended with millet. This cover option is designed for soil building purposes only - no options for forage or grazing potential. This crop, given adequate moisture, will deliver a rapidly growing cover along with contribution of nitrogen fixation and organic matter building. Consider crop termination (mechanical or herbicide) after 60 days of growth or when sunn hemp reaches heights of 4 to 5 feet. Otherwise, SunnHemp is very intolerant of frost and will self terminate with the first hard freeze.
