Star Seed

Santa Fe is a hard red winter variety developed by WestBred and licensed to AGSECO. Santa Fe is moderatley resistant to stripe rust and resistant to leaf rust. It had the best overall leaf health of any other hard varieties in 2005. Its excellent yield potential and disease resistance make it one of the top variety selections for central and eastern Kansas, all of Nebraska and Oklahoma. Santa Fe also offers exceptional grazing potential. Its performance in western Kansas has not been as consistent.
