Star Seed

Fuller is a semidwarf hard winter wheat, with much better shattering tolerance than Overley. It also tillers better than Overley and has smaller seed. It is medium in height with average straw strength and excellent yield potential. Fuller is early maturing, heading a day later than Jagger. Fuller has fair to good winterhardiness and a medium coleoptile. Fuller does very well if planted late, or if emergence is late. Planting late will help keep it from breaking dormancy too early in the spring. It has only intermediate acid soil tolerance.
